Prime Video is set to expand the hit action franchise with a new eight-episode series titled Neagley, premiering on September 16. Launching on the exact same day as the season four finale of Reacher, the spin-off shifts the spotlight to fan-favourite supporting character Frances Neagley, played by Maria Sten.
As a private investigator and former US Army master sergeant, Neagley has long served as one of Jack Reacher's closest allies. In this new series, she is drawn into a dangerous conspiracy and forced to confront elements of her past after a trusted friend dies in a suspicious accident. Unlike the nomadic Jack Reacher, Neagley operates out of Chicago, granting her access to advanced technology, contacts, and tools that her former commanding officer typically avoids.
Developed by showrunner Nick Santora alongside Nicholas Wootton, with author Lee Child serving as an executive producer, the cast also features Greyston Holt, Jasper Jones, Adeline Rudolph, Matthew Del Negro, and Damon Herriman. Alan Ritchson will also reprise his role as Jack Reacher in a supporting capacity and make a cameo appearance.
Although based on characters created by Lee Child in novels such as Without Fail, Bad Luck and Trouble, and The Affair, Neagley features an entirely original story rather than directly adapting a single book. All eight episodes will drop simultaneously on Prime Video on September 16.
