The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) has forecasted a continued temporary rise in temperatures across most parts of the country. Conditions are expected to peak in the south, with felt temperatures reaching 46C on Wednesday—a day that brings August-like heat into September.

During the day, hot weather will prevail, while the night is anticipated to be humid and mild, leaning towards hot. Persistent high humidity levels will continue to intensify the perceived temperature by approximately two degrees across most regions.

According to the latest weather forecasts, maximum temperatures along the northern coast will range between 30C and 33C. Meanwhile, Cairo and Lower Egypt will experience highs of around 35-36C. In the southern regions, temperatures in northern Upper Egypt will range from 38-40C, ultimately peaking at 44-45C in southern Upper Egypt. Motorists should also watch out for a chance of mist appearing on some roads during the cooler night and early morning hours.
