Alex Warren is set to make his UAE debut during the Abu Dhabi Formula One Grand Prix after-race concert series at Etihad Live on Friday, December 4. As the first artist confirmed for that night's double bill, he will share the stage with a second act yet to be announced.

Warren joins a star-studded lineup that includes Lewis Capaldi and Zara Larsson performing on December 3, Imagine Dragons taking the stage on December 5, and The Chainsmokers along with The Script closing out the weekend on race day, December 6. Entry to these exclusive after-race concerts is reserved for Abu Dhabi Grand Prix ticket holders, featuring at least seven acts across four nights with genres ranging from pop and rock to EDM and soul.

The singer arrives in the UAE following the recent release of his album Wildchild, featuring tracks like Passenger and Rescuer. This follows his earlier 2025 debut album, You’ll Be Alright, Kid, which featured his major international hit and Billboard Hot 100 number-one single, Ordinary. Warren initially built his dedicated online following through emotionally vulnerable music inspired by his tumultuous childhood experiences with grief and homelessness.

“Writing music is my form of therapy. I have a book where I’ve written down all the 'bad' things that have ever happened to me, and whenever it’s time to work on a new song or album, I crack that book open,” he shared in a previous interview with Elle Singapore. “But creating songs about grief and loss is also rewarding because it gives other people the words to describe what they might be feeling too.”

Having spent much of 2026 on his Finding Family on the Road tour across Europe, Asia, Australia, and New Zealand, Warren is ready for his upcoming appearance in the UAE.

“We are delighted to bring Alex Warren to the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. He’s one of the most talked-about voices in music today, and his warmth and stage presence make him a perfect addition to our week-long entertainment offering for fans,” stated David Powell, chief portfolio and strategy officer at Ethara, the organization overseeing the concerts. “He will form part of an exciting double-bill, with another global superstar still to be revealed, giving fans even more to look forward to this December.”

According to Ethara, the previous Abu Dhabi Grand Prix drew a record-breaking 339,000 attendees throughout race week, which included 136,000 fans gathered for the after-race concerts and official after-parties.
