A new Trump-branded property has been unveiled as part of a $2 billion development in Georgia's capital, Tbilisi, marking the entry of US President Donald Trump's conglomerate into the Caucasus region. The “ultra-luxury” 62-storey mixed-use Trump Tower Tbilisi is set to become the tallest skyscraper in the country at 280 metres.

Speaking in a statement on Thursday, Trump Organisation executive vice president Eric Trump positioned the project as a cornerstone for pitching Tbilisi as an international investment and real estate destination. Studio prices at the six-tower, 600,000-square-metre complex will start at $290,000, or $7,000 per square metre. According to Georgian developer Archi, the residences will be complemented by high-end hospitality services, luxury retail, world-class dining options, and curated leisure spaces.

Archi has partnered with Georgian holding firm Invia and New York-based Sapir Organisation to develop the project, while San Francisco-based architectural firm Gensler will handle the design. The development is financed through a package provided by TBC Bank and Bank of Georgia, whose parent groups are listed on the London Stock Exchange.

The project was formally unveiled at an invitation-only event in Tbilisi on Tuesday, attended by business leaders, investors, and Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze. Eric Trump first shared a rendering of the tower in May, stating that it will quickly become a landmark and highlight Downtown Tbilisi's growth as a dynamic business and lifestyle hub.

The Trump Organisation continues to expand its global real estate portfolio, which already features significant developments across the Gulf, South Korea, and India. In Georgia, the development aims to capitalise on an investment environment backed by a growing GDP and free trade agreements with the UAE, EU, China, and the Commonwealth of Independent States.

Archi Group co-founder and chairman Ilia Tsulaia praised the project, describing the arrival of Trump Tower as a powerful signal of international confidence in Georgia's economic future.
