A tragic bomb attack at a mosque located in Pakistan's restive north-west has resulted in the deaths of at least 15 individuals, while more than 50 others have sustained injuries.

According to reports from Al Jazeera, an explosive-laden vehicle was deliberately rammed into the entrance of a mosque situated at a police headquarters in Kohat. The incident occurred in the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, near the Afghan border, just as worshippers were gathering to attend Friday prayers.

Dr Tahir Shah stated that at least 15 bodies and over 50 injured victims were transported to the local hospital in the town. He further warned that the overall death toll may climb higher as a number of the wounded individuals are currently in critical condition.
