The Real Estate Regulatory Authority (Aqarat) has announced key updates for the fourth edition of the Qatar Real Estate Forum 2026, which will be held under the patronage of Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs. The announcement was made during a press conference at The St. Regis Marsa Arabia Island, The Pearl Qatar.
The forum is scheduled to take place from October 27 to 29, 2026, at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC), in a partnership between Aqarat and Informa Tharawat. It aims to bring together government leaders, developers, investors, and policymakers to discuss the sector's ongoing transformation, investment opportunities, and regulatory developments.
This year's event highlights a fundamental shift in real estate beyond traditional sales and purchases, positioning the sector as a core pillar of investment, wealth management, and the broader capital ecosystem. Discussions will cover real estate financing, portfolio diversification, asset tokenization, and sustainability amidst changing economic and geopolitical shifts.
Mohammed bin Hassan Al Malki, President of Aqarat, emphasized the importance of adapting to rapid market developments and reinforcing investor confidence. Meanwhile, real estate transactions in Qatar reached QAR 10.69 billion during the first half of 2026. The event will also coincide with Cityscape Qatar, connecting local developers with international investors to support the goals of Qatar National Vision 2030.
