Egyptian Meteorological Authority Releases Late-September Temperature and Weather Outlook

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) has released its official weather forecast and temperature projections for Cairo and the governorates through the conclusion of September.

Citizens can expect moderate to warm, humid conditions during the early morning hours, which will transition into hot and humid weather during the day across northern Egypt, Greater Cairo, and Northern Upper Egypt. Meanwhile, extremely hot conditions are anticipated for Southern Upper Egypt.

Temperature highs along the Northern Coast will range between 28C and 29C, while Greater Cairo and Lower Egypt will record highs from 31C to 32C. Northern Upper Egypt will experience warmer conditions with highs reaching 33C to 35C, and Southern Upper Egypt will endure persistent severe heat with temperatures hovering between 39C and 40C.
