The UAE has successfully delivered an additional 458 tonnes of critical aid to the Gaza Strip as part of an ongoing major humanitarian campaign supporting civilians in need. Three separate aid convoys comprising 28 lorries entered the enclave this week, carrying essential food and shelter supplies. Large quantities of these vital goods continue to be prepared at the UAE Humanitarian Aid Logistics Centre in Al Arish, Egypt, prior to transportation into the Gaza Strip.
This relief effort represents the latest expression of solidarity from the Emirates toward the Palestinian people, who face severe food and water shortages alongside heavily restricted access to health services impacted by the Gaza war. Demonstrating further support, more than 10 million meals were prepared for Gaza at a Dubai community event on Saturday, paying tribute to the late Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid and his legacy of giving.
The Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives organized the Ahmed Bin Rashid Humanitarian Bridge event in partnership with Operation Gallant Knight 3 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. This 10 Million Meals campaign follows a major drive launched by the UAE on Thursday aimed at providing warm clothing to one million people in Gaza, offering crucial support as residents prepare for harsh winter weather and plunging temperatures.
