The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) has released its weather forecast for the period from Friday, October 2, to Tuesday, October 6. According to the Authority, the country will experience moderate autumn weather in the early morning hours, shifting to warm conditions during the day along the northern coast. Temperatures will reach hot levels across Lower Egypt, Greater Cairo, and Northern Upper Egypt, while Southern Upper Egypt is expected to see very hot conditions, followed by moderate temperatures at night.
In its official statement, the EMA outlined several expected weather phenomena over the coming days. Morning fog is projected to form between 4:00 AM and 8:00 AM on select roads connecting to and from northern Egypt, extending through Greater Cairo, the Canal Cities, Central Sinai, and Northern Upper Egypt.
Additionally, the Authority noted chances of light rainfall that may occasionally turn moderate over parts of the northern coastal governorates and Northern Lower Egypt, as well as areas in the Western Desert and Central Upper Egypt at intermittent intervals. Active winds are also expected across most of the country, providing relief by cooling the atmosphere in shaded areas and during the night. The EMA has urged citizens to monitor its updated bulletins for the latest developments regarding weather conditions and atmospheric phenomena.
