Christina Aguilera and Offlimits Music Festival Cancel Abu Dhabi Performances

Christina Aguilera’s upcoming concert at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi has been officially cancelled, Ticketmaster announced on Tuesday. The US singer was originally slated to perform at the Yas Island venue on September 25, following a previous postponement from April 24 due to regional disruptions affecting airspace, flights, and touring schedules.

Ticketmaster informed ticket holders that the event will no longer take place, offering no specific reason or replacement date. Full refunds are set to be processed automatically through the original payment method within 21 working days. The cancellation follows the news that the Offlimits Music Festival, which was scheduled to feature Shakira, the Jonas Brothers, Ne-Yo, and Biffy Clyro at Etihad Park on November 21, has also been called off.

Organisers of the Offlimits Music Festival similarly provided no reason for the cancellation, confirming that all tickets will be automatically refunded and hinting at a potential return in 2027. Aguilera previously performed in the capital in February 2025 as part of Saadiyat Nights, marking her first appearance in Abu Dhabi in 17 years since her 2008 show at Emirates Palace.
