Egyptian star Mona Zaki recently shed light on her upcoming drama series, “Tale’ Nazel” (Going Up, Going Down), which is officially set to premiere on October 10 on the Shahid platform.

In an official teaser shared on Shahid’s Instagram account, Mona Zaki offered a glimpse into the emotional core of the show: “They say that behind every great man, there is a great woman—but no one ever mentioned what happens when that woman is deeply hurt. This isn’t a story about infidelity; it’s about what happens afterwards.”

The upcoming series boasts a talented cast including Mohamed Shahin, Mariam a l – Khosht, Laila Ezz e l – Arab, Mimi Gamal, and Hamza Diab. Behind the scenes, the project was written by Samah Ahmed Abdel – Khalek and Engy a l – Kassem, with direction led by Hany Khalifa.

The plot centers on a musician who appears to enjoy a stable and successful marriage with his wife, a powerful businesswoman and major company owner. Despite their initial agreement not to have children, the wife secretly holds a deep desire to start a family. Her world is completely upended upon discovering her husband's infidelity and learning that he has secretly married another woman. Dealing with this devastating revelation, she finds herself torn between the deep pain of betrayal and the urgent need to reclaim her dignity, ultimately pushing events toward a dramatic confrontation and potential revenge.

Mohamed Shahin elaborated on his character “Ali,” alongside Mona Zaki’s character “Noura,” noting: “Noura and Ali are the kind of characters that make you envious—you wish you could live even a fraction of their lives. He achieved his dream and became Egypt’s most famous musician; they had everything, yet human nature is greedy.”
