EgyptAir has announced the temporary suspension of all flights operating from Cairo and Alexandria airports to Riyadh. This decision comes as a result of the temporary halt in operations at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, which was triggered by regional tensions and a recent attack at the airport on Saturday.

According to the airline, flights will stay grounded until normal operations resume at King Khalid International Airport, in direct coordination with Saudi civil aviation authorities. Passengers holding confirmed tickets for these affected flights who wish to reroute to another direct destination within Saudi Arabia on EgyptAir flights are permitted to do so with zero modification fees or fare differences.

Additionally, customers who prefer to cancel their tickets for the impacted flights are eligible for a full refund without any cancellation fees, following established company procedures. EgyptAir strongly encourages all customers to verify and manage their bookings by reaching out to the EgyptAir 1717 call center from any mobile phone within Egypt, or through the official landline at 090070000. International passengers may call +97142306666 or +966122297777, contact support via email, visit the official website, or stop by the nearest EgyptAir sales office.
