Red Bull's Max Verstappen delivered a dominant performance at the Marina Bay Street Circuit, securing victory from pole position on Sunday for his second consecutive win of the season at the Singapore Grand Prix. Although Verstappen voiced some frustration regarding the circuit's limited overtaking opportunities, he enjoyed an almost flawless weekend that included a Sprint race victory. This milestone triumph served as a memorable way for the four-time world champion to celebrate his 250th grand prix weekend.

Ferrari's Charles Leclerc crossed the finish line in second place, while Mercedes driver Kimi Antonelli took third, successfully extending his championship lead over teammate George Russell. Verstappen maintained control throughout the race, expertly fusing off an initial challenge from Leclerc. Having secured a victory in Malaysia last weekend, the Dutch driver conquered Singapore for the very first time, finally crossing off what he described as "unfinished business."

Reflecting on his performance, Verstappen stated that the race went very well, highlighting their pace on the soft tyre despite struggles with the medium compound. He expressed immense happiness with the result, noting the high motivation within the team and his enjoyment working alongside them as they aim for more success.

Meanwhile, Antonelli extended his championship advantage over Russell to 102 points, positioning the young Italian to potentially secure the title during the upcoming round in Austin. Following his 14th podium finish of the season, Antonelli expressed excitement and relief after capitalizing on a late battle between Lando Norris and Lewis Hamilton to secure third place.

For Ferrari, Lewis Hamilton endured a challenging evening after starting third on the grid. The British driver dropped to sixth place in the closing stages as McLaren drivers Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri overtook him amidst tyre degradation struggles. Taking full accountability over the team radio, Hamilton apologized to his crew for the strategy call that cost them valuable points.
