The Corrs have cancelled their upcoming Abu Dhabi concert, marking the second major show at the venue to be called off in just two days following Christina Aguilera's announcement.

The Irish pop-rock band was scheduled to take the stage at Etihad Arena on Yas Island on September 27 as part of their 2026 tour. The group broke the news on social media on Wednesday, stating: “We’re very sorry to share that, due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, our show at Etihad Arena, Abu Dhabi on September 27 has been cancelled. We know many of you were planning to join us and hope to see you again soon. Refunds will be available from the original point of purchase.”

Ticketmaster also reached out to ticket holders on Wednesday to confirm the cancellation. No specific reason was provided, and no new date has been scheduled. Tickets for the highly anticipated return to the UAE had started from Dh325.

The band, consisting of siblings Andrea, Sharon, Caroline and Jim Corr, is celebrated for their unique mix of pop-rock and traditional Celtic sounds, with famous tracks including Breathless, Runaway, What Can I Do and Dreams.

This cancellation comes immediately after the announcement that Christina Aguilera's September 25 concert at Etihad Arena was also called off. The US pop star had initially planned to perform in April before rescheduling to September due to regional conflict disruptions.

These schedule changes follow the earlier cancellation of the Offlimits Festival, which was planned for Etihad Park on Yas Island on November 21 with a lineup featuring Shakira, the Jonas Brothers, Ne-Yo and Biffy Clyro. Organizers have suggested the festival may return in 2027.
