In a significant show of support, U.S. President Donald Trump declared his "complete and total endorsement" for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ahead of the country's parliamentary elections. The endorsement was made via a post on Truth Social on Sunday.

Mr. Trump lauded Prime Minister Netanyahu for his steadfast support during the ongoing conflict with Iran, which is approaching its eight-month mark this week. He described the Israeli leader as "strong, brave and brilliant." Israel, alongside the U.S., initiated coordinated strikes against Iran on February 28, resulting in the death of supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

The U.S. President characterized Mr. Netanyahu as both a "great warrior Prime Minister" and an "even greater partner for peace" in the context of the Iran conflict. He further emphasized the threat posed by Iran's anti-Israel and anti-U.S. rhetoric to the region.

According to Mr. Trump, the Iranian regime has been "systematically destroyed, both militarily and financially." He warned that if the regime does not alter its course swiftly, the job of dismantling it will soon be completed. Mr. Trump also indicated that the U.S. might have to act unilaterally if Mr. Netanyahu fails to secure re-election, stating, "If Israel has the wrong leader, which would be anyone other than Bibi, America will have to do this work ourselves, and I am not inclined to do so."
