Six Arab football association leaders, led by Qatar, have released a joint statement declaring their full support for FIFA President Gianni Infantino, expressing strong confidence in his ongoing leadership. The declaration was signed by QFA President Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani alongside five other regional football leaders, reaffirming their commitment to Infantino's global strategy.
Alongside Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, who serves as Qatar’s FIFA Council Member and President of the Qatar Football Association, the statement was signed by Egypt’s Hany Abo Rida, Morocco’s Fouzi Lekjaa, Mauritania’s Ahmed Yahya, Lebanon’s Hashem Haidar, and Sudan’s Dr Moatasem Gafar.
“We deeply appreciate Mr Infantino’s sustained efforts to advance football globally, expand opportunities across all regions and strengthen the game’s role in bringing people and communities together,” the leaders stated in the declaration released on Thursday.
