Sudan Detains Former Bashir Regime Official Ahmed Haroun, Wanted by ICC for Darfur Atrocities

Sudanese forces have detained Ahmed Haroun, a senior official from Omar Al Bashir's era and former chairman of the National Congress Party, who is wanted by the ICC for alleged war crimes and genocide in Darfur. Haroun, who had been in hiding, claimed unity with the army against the RSF despite political differences.
