Motorists in Dubai will now be required to pay for parking in specific zones within the Jebel Ali Industrial area and Al Furjan, as Parkin extends its paid parking network to these neighborhoods. In the Jebel Ali Industrial area, public parking fees are now in effect under Code 599T, with signage installed to inform drivers. The operating hours for parking are from 8am to 10pm, with an hourly charge of Dh4.20. For longer-term needs, residents and visitors can secure subscriptions via the Parkin app. Subscription options in Jebel Ali Industrial area include one month for Dh315, three months for Dh840, six months for Dh1,680, and one year for Dh2,940.

Al Furjan will operate under parking zone 591P, also offering subscription plans for residents and visitors. The subscription rates for Al Furjan are Dh1,999 for one month, Dh3,999 for three months, and Dh4,999 for one year. Payment for public parking can be made through the Parkin App, SMS, WhatsApp, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) app, DubaiNow app, or at payment machines. This expansion of Dubai's paid public parking network aims to address illegal parking and optimize the management of available spaces. Previously, in October, Parkin renewed its parking services agreement with Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) for an additional 10 years to manage paid parking across Jumeirah Lakes Towers (JLT). Under this agreement, Parkin is responsible for daily parking operations, including payment processing via its digital and physical channels, serving approximately 2,800 paid parking spaces in JLT, which includes 250 designated motorcycle parking spaces.
