EgyptAir Secures Major Partnership as Official Airline of FC Barcelona Through 2029

Egypt’s flag carrier has signed a high-profile sponsorship agreement with Spanish football giant FC Barcelona, establishing its position as the club’s Official Exclusive Airline Partner through the 2028–2029 season. This multi-year collaboration grants EgyptAir extensive global rights across Barcelona’s flagship men’s football team, basketball squad, and handball team.

As part of the prominent branding elements, the airline’s logo will be featured on the front of the handball team’s official match jerseys, complemented by a comprehensive package of global marketing rights.

Capt. Ahmed Adel, Chairman of EgyptAir Holding Company, described the agreement as a historic milestone that unites the airline’s 95-year aviation heritage with the international prestige of FC Barcelona, reigning La Liga and Spanish Super Cup champions.

EgyptAir Airlines Chairman Capt. Mohamed Elyan highlighted that the partnership reflects shared organizational values such as excellence, commitment, and teamwork, aimed at enhancing EgyptAir's competitive standing in the global aviation sector.

Representing the Catalan club, Marc Broix, Global Sponsorship Director at FC Barcelona, stated that partnering with Egypt’s national carrier is a strategic advancement in the club's ongoing international expansion efforts.
