The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) forecasts a slight decrease in temperatures across most of the country on Sunday, while hot and humid conditions continue to persist during the daytime in most areas. Early morning hours will bring slightly hot and humid weather, which will intensify during the day across the majority of the nation, with temperatures peaking in Upper Egypt before dropping at night.

In Greater Cairo, the maximum temperature is expected to reach 35C, while southern Upper Egypt will see highs of 39C. Meanwhile, the northern coast will experience temperatures of 31C, and northern Upper Egypt is forecasted to reach 35C.

Weather maps have issued warnings regarding rough sea conditions along several beaches, including Marsa Matrouh, Alexandria, al-Alamein, al-Dabaa, and Kafr el-Sheikh. Wind speeds in these coastal zones are expected to reach between 30 and 45 km/h, generating waves between two and three meters high.

Additionally, active winds ranging from 30 to 35 km/h will sweep across most regions, potentially stirring up sand and dust in parts of the northwestern coast, the Western Desert, Upper Egypt, and sections of the Red Sea Governorate. The EMA has advised citizens in these affected areas, particularly individuals with respiratory conditions, to wear facemasks.

Forecasters also noted a slight, 20 percent probability of light rainfall occurring at intervals in parts of the northern coast, northern Lower Egypt, and North Sinai. The EMA urged the public to stay informed through its latest updates and to take necessary precautions against the anticipated weather conditions.
