Some of the world’s most recognizable players who currently find themselves out of contract have been urged to continue their careers in Dubai rather than sit on the sidelines. The Arabian Falcons, a team competing in the UAE Second Division League, have extended an open invitation to star players such as Karim Benzema and Paul Pogba, along with several other notable names currently without a club.

The club features significant elite-level experience within its ranks. Jonjo Shelvey, the former Liverpool and Newcastle midfielder who earned six caps for England, serves as the team’s coach. Ravel Morrison, the former Manchester United midfielder, acts as team captain, while former Crystal Palace player Jason Puncheon oversees football operations.

The organization is offering players who are currently teamless following the summer transfer window an opportunity to join them in Dubai with no long-term commitment required. In their open invitation, the club specifically noted players including Karim Benzema, Paul Pogba, Raheem Sterling, Jadon Sancho, Riyad Mahrez, Philippe Coutinho, Dani Carvajal, and Jamie Vardy.

“Don’t sit on the sidelines; come and show what you’ve got over in Dubai,” Jonjo Shelvey stated. “We're building something real out here, and we want more big names alongside us as we do it. If you've got the quality and you're ready to work, there's a place for you at this club.”

The core pitch to any interested stars is the ability to come to Dubai on their own terms, train with the squad, play matches, and depart the moment the right offer materializes without any long-term ties.

“We've seen ex-Premier League players go months without a club and lose all their sharpness,” Jason Puncheon said. “There's no reason for that to happen. Come to Dubai, train with us every single day, get proper minutes, and be ready the second the phone rings.”

The Arabian Falcons commenced their league campaign with a 2-1 victory in their opening match and harbor ambitions of climbing the UAE league structure. Alongside the senior squad, the club has launched a Premier League-standard academy, positioning itself as an appealing destination for free agents seeking to maintain match fitness before returning to top-flight football.

“We can get any free agent playing minutes and back to full condition with proper support around them – medical, conditioning, matchday exposure, all of it,” Harry Agombar, the Falcons’ sporting director, explained. “If you're out of contract and want to stay ready, this is the environment to do that in.”
