Defending champions UAE Bulls have officially become the first franchise confirmed for the revamped 2026 Abu Dhabi T10, marking a fresh start for the short-format tournament. The team is the first of several expected to announce their participation as the league prepares for a complete reset running from November 7-20 at the Zayed Cricket Stadium in the UAE capital.

Having competed since the league's inception in 2017, the UAE Bulls will now participate under the tournament's new 10-year licence model. The defending champions will be led by franchise cricket's most successful head coach Andy Flower, alongside T20 great Dwayne Bravo as bowling coach and mentor. The tournament now operates under the complete ownership and management of Abu Dhabi Cricket & Sports Hub (ADCSH), with support from the Abu Dhabi Sports Council (ADSC).

Formerly known as the Delhi Bulls, the franchise reached the final in 2024 before capturing their first Abu Dhabi T10 title in 2025. Owner Neelesh Bhatnagar stated that committing to the next chapter was an easy decision, highlighting the strong institutional backing and long-term structure provided by the new management.

Head coach Andy Flower expressed enthusiasm for continuing his journey with the team and the venue, while Matt Boucher, CEO of Abu Dhabi Cricket & Sports Hub and Abu Dhabi T10, welcomed the confirmation, praising the UAE Bulls for their long-term commitment and shared ambition for the format.
