EgyptAir Ground Services Company has successfully signed two strategic agreements with Rafal Aviation Handling and AuriJet Aviation Services on the concluding day of the Egypt International Airshow and Space Exhibition (EIAS 2026).
The official signing ceremony was attended by Civil Aviation Minister Sameh al-Hefny. He emphasized the ministry's commitment to attracting increased investments and broadening cooperation with leading international companies and agencies within the civil aviation sector.
According to Sameh al-Hefny, these expanded partnerships will significantly boost operational efficiency at Egyptian airports, draw in additional airlines, and drive up inbound air traffic and tourism.
The new agreements align directly with EgyptAir Ground Services’ strategic plan to enhance its commercial and operational footprint, leveraging its advanced capabilities and deep industry experience.
Through the partnership with Rafal Aviation Handling, EgyptAir Ground Services aims to draw international airlines, scheduled and charter operators, and private aviation, targeting markets in the Far East, Europe, and Russia.
Meanwhile, the collaboration with AuriJet Aviation Services focuses on utilizing its vast network across the Middle East, Turkey, Europe, and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) to boost air cargo, charter, and private aviation traffic at Egyptian airports.
Ultimately, both partnerships are designed to offer international operators a single professional point of contact, ensuring seamless coordination for ground handling, fueling, permits, and related services while maximizing operational flexibility and efficiency.
