Real Madrid secured a hard-fought 98-95 victory in overtime against Dubai Basketball during their SuperCup semi-final clash, setting the stage for a rematch of May's EuroLeague championship game against Olympiacos.

Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot and Edy Tavares spearheaded Madrid's offense with 20 points each, whereas Elie Okobo led Dubai with a game-high 24 points. The result advances 11-time EuroLeague winners Real Madrid to the SuperCup final, where they will square off against reigning champions Olympiacos at Abu Dhabi’s Etihad Arena on Saturday.

"I think if we play our game against any team in the EuroLeague, I think we're going to be tough to beat," Luwawu-Cabarrot stated. "And I think we can beat anyone."

Tavares added, "We stayed in the game until the end. We kept believing we were going to win, so that's what happened for us. Just stay in the game and that allowed us to win the game."

Earlier in the day, Olympiacos relied on a crucial jumper from the free-throw line by Evan Fournier with 52 seconds remaining to secure a narrow 92-90 triumph over Fenerbahce.

Donta Hall earned the MVP of the Game honors after delivering a 12-point, 12-rebound double-double for Olympiacos. Evan Fournier led the team in scoring with 19 points, complemented by Jean Montero with 13 points and Cory Joseph with 10 points.

Olympiacos coach Georgios Bartzokas shared his thoughts with EuroLeague TV, saying, "First of all, I realised pretty soon that the intensity was like a play-off game, not like a game at the beginning of the season. Both teams had the desire to play. The execution wasn't bad, but the desire, the feeling, the emotions, it was like a play-off game."
