Egyptian authorities have successfully refloated the cruise ship “Courchette”, which was carrying 99 tourists of various nationalities after running aground in the Nile River opposite the dock of the Kom Ombo Temple in Aswan.
River police and specialized rescue units swiftly intervened to manage the situation, returning the vessel safely to its navigational channel while ensuring the continued security and flow of river traffic in the region.
According to reports from RT on Saturday, there is currently no confirmed information regarding any injuries among the passengers or structural damage to the vessel.
