Egypt and Bahrain Deepen Economic Ties: Ministers Discuss Investment Partnerships

Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain – Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty met on Saturday, October 31, 2026, in Manama with Bahraini Minister of Finance and National Economy Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa. The meeting underscored a shared commitment to enhancing economic and investment partnerships between the two nations.

Foreign Ministry Spokesman Nader Zaki stated that both sides expressed a mutual desire to bolster economic and investment cooperation. Discussions focused on strengthening joint investments in key sectors such as infrastructure, logistics, and energy. Additionally, preparations for the third joint governmental committee session were reviewed.
