Egyptian Red Crescent Welcomes 79th Group of Injured and Sick Palestinians at Rafah Crossing

Teams from the Egyptian Red Crescent have successfully received the 79th group of injured and sick Palestinians arriving in Egypt through the Rafah crossing to receive medical treatment.

In coordination with the ministries of health and population and social solidarity, the teams also accompanied recovered patients as they departed following the completion of their medical care.

The comprehensive humanitarian response featured dedicated psychological support, particularly tailored for children, alongside family-reunification services. Additionally, relief teams distributed meals, drinks, clothing, and personal-care supplies to adequately support the needs of the arriving individuals during the crossing process.

Operating around the clock, the Egyptian Red Crescent remains steadfast in delivering vital humanitarian and relief assistance to Palestinians, reinforcing Egypt's ongoing efforts to alleviate their suffering amidst deeply challenging humanitarian conditions.
